This afternoon, on behalf of the Eliud Owalo Foundation, I donated basketball uniforms to both the Kenyatta University Men’s Basketball Team (The Pirates) and the Kenyatta University Ladies’ Basketball Team (Oryx).
The event, held at the Kenyatta University Basketball Court, was attended by Prof. Thorua, DVC Research, Innovation, and Outreach; Prof. Grace Mbunyi, Registrar Corporate Affairs; Dr. Gladys Mwangi, Deputy Executive Dean, School of Health Sciences; and the Kenyatta University Basketball Head Coach, Caleb Osewe.

I also participated in a basketball game with the teams, on the same court where I once played, during my university days as a member of the Pirates Basketball team and later served as the chairman of the Kenyatta University Basketball Clubs.

I was accompanied to the event by Paul Otula, Chairman of the Kenya Basketball Federation, along with former National Team Basketball players Ronny Owino, Maurice Aluanga, Angela Luchivyia, Sylvia Kamau, and Abraham Muthogo.

Additionally, former Kenyatta University Pirates players Michael Riziki, Dickson Jawichre, Charles Birech, Tom Nyakiamo, and former Kenyatta University Oryx players Nellie Odera, Merab Gondi, and Rhoda Tsuma were also present.
