Eliud Owalo is a well-known, vastly-experienced and respected Transformational Thought Leader who is currently the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Executive Office of the President responsible for Performance and Delivery Management in Government. Previously, he has served as Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy; Managing Consultant, Eliud & Associates(E&A) Management Consultants and Director/Council Member – Kenya School of Government (KSG).
 
 
Eliud has 23 years’ experience as an Economist, Management Consultant, Strategy and Performance Management Expert. He holds a BA Degree in Economics and Business Studies from Kenyatta University, an MBA Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Nairobi and is currently a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Candidate in Strategic Management at the University of Nairobi.
 
Eliud is a Fellow of the Institute of Human Resource Management (FIHRM); Fellow of the Economists Society of Kenya (FESK); Member, Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA); Full Member, Kenya Institute of Management (KIM); Member of the Professional Trainers’ Association of Kenya (PTAK); and a Former Director/Council Member of the Kenya School of Government (KSG).

CONSULTING WORK:

With 23 years of experience as a Consultant and Trainer, Eliud Owalo has been involved in a wide range of consultancy projects. His work includes the design of over 50 strategic plans, as well as expertise in Balanced Scorecard Performance Management, Job Evaluation, Workload Analysis, Work Re-design, Organizational Design and Development, Recruitment, Selection, and Placement, Skills Audit, Training Needs Assessment (TNA), Change Management Strategy, Cultural Change Management, and Business Plan Development.

He has also led workshops and training programs in areas such as Balanced Scorecard, Corporate Governance, Change Management, Management Development Programmes (MDP), Training of Trainers (T.O.T), Human Resource Planning, Succession Planning, Customer Care, Supervisory Skills Development, Industrial Relations, Team Building, Records Management, Enterprise Development, Pre-training of Retrenches.
