Ensuring Access to Water & Sanitation

Approximately 2.6 billion people worldwide lack access to sanitation, resulting in severe challenges for public health, the economy, and social well-being, with particular impacts on women and the elderly. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the United Nations has identified access to adequate sanitation facilities as one of their “Millennium Development Goals.”

Addressing the global sanitation crisis demands innovative solutions as conventional sanitary technology is not viable due to water scarcity and associated costs. Given the enormity of this challenge, charitable financing alone is insufficient.

Our Approach

In collaboration with our partners, we are currently preparing a project focused on sustainable water and sanitation solutions for the Kibra slum community in Kenya. This initiative aims to enhance hygiene conditions and create opportunities for income generation within the community.
